Maldives wins the prestigious position of the Indian Ocean’s Leading Beach Destination, Indian Ocean’s Leading Dive Destination and Indian Ocean’s Leading Destination at the Annual World Travel Awards; Africa and Indian Ocean held this evening at The Dubran International Convention Centre, South Africa. Maldives once again secured the prestigious position after fierce competition with Africa and Indian Ocean’s top tourist destinations such as Seychelles and Mauritius.
The World Travel Awards Africa & Indian Ocean Gala Ceremony 2018 promises to be the most prestigious travel and tourism event of the year which brought together the leading figureheads and VIPs from across Africa and the Indian Ocean. The evening also forms part of the silver jubilee World Travel Awards Grand Tour 2018, the World Travel Awards’ 25th anniversary of honoring excellence in the international hospitality industry.
